Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a new technology which starts lately, but it developsvery rapidly. WSNs have played an important role in today’s various fields. On the one hand, many cutting-edge technologies which are relatively mature lead the development of sensortechnology; On the other hand, it is determined by the characteristics of the sensor technology. The technology is an integral part of advanced technology in many fields which promotes therapid development of sensor networks, and promotes the birth of a variety of key technologies.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic concepts of the wireless sensor network technology, network structure, network characteristics, as well as wireless sensor networks and its keytechnologies. The focus of the research is one of the key technologies in the sensor networkwhich is data query technology. This paper describe about the concept of data query processingmechanisms, query classification, optimizing query strategy in detail, while analyzing andsummarizing the mature query algorithm. And then, a query optimization algorithm based on therotation mechanism is proposed. The new optimization algorithm uses periodic rotation methodof the cluster head nodes to make the balanced distribution of the cluster head nodes, while usinga way to extend the life of the sensor nodes to extend the life cycle of the entire network. Afterthat, the simulation experiment is conducted to prove the algorithm that haves certain advantagesin remaining network node number and energy consumption. On the premise of the formeralgorithm, another optimization method is proposed to improve the node clustering. Thisalgorithm uses the idea of a grid-like sensor network to make node differentiation. It optimizesfrom the overlap of the data acquisition and information transmission distance to improve theperformance of the entire network. And the fuzzy degree concept is added in the proposedoptimization. In the end, this paper improves the query request on the basic of not affecting therequest results to simplify the data processing of the nodes.
