Abstract/Summary:
Wireless sensor networks which can implement the data collection, data confusion and transferapplication, links the logical information world to the objective physical world together andreceived extensive attention in recent years. Because of the architecture of WAN and the nodes’limitations, the information are easy to expose. So the security of the WSN plays an important role, especially the key management. This paper firstly introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge of WSN and the existing keymanagement schemes. Through the comparison and analysis, problems in these schemes aresummarized. For the poor safety security performance and extensibility in the key-predistribution, this paperpresents a dynamic key management, which is based on the third-party trust mechanisms and thehashed value with salts. This scheme solves the problem for network extension and provides thebackward security, also increases the invulnerability and connectivity rate of the randomkey-predistribution.This paper proposes a new key management scheme which is based on the LEAP and the concept of the slidingwindow: The LEAP PLUS of Sliding Time Interval. This proposal break through the ideal environment in theLEAP protocol: WSN is safety within the deployment time. At the same time this proposal mitigates thedependency on primary key in LEAP basic scheme and the cost of memory brought by the excessive timeintervals in LEAP expansion scheme.
