Wireless sensor network(WSN) is some network that consisting of large number tiny sensor nodes, distributed in the open area and processing cooperatively in ad-hoc manner. With the wide applications of Wireless Sensor Network, in some sensitive application, such as battle field and business, its security issues are be coming more and more pronounced. Sometimes, Security becomes the key link of the application. Key management is the most importance and the most basal content of WSN security research, efficiency key management is the base of the others security mechanism such as secure routing and secure location. This thesis gives a description of the structure of WSN, and then analyzes the security features, security goals, key management problem, the evaluation standard, the class, and research actuality of key management scheme are researched systematized. It especially introduces some random key-management scheme, such as Esehenauer-Gligor scheme、Q-composite scheme and pre-distribution scheme based on hash key chain simulating and analysis their performances in detail. For the defect of storage consumption and low key utilization in classical scheme, a improved pre-distribution scheme based on hash key chain is proposed. The scheme makes use of node location information, physical domain and key pool division, twins compose of certain mapping relation. The probability of neighbor nodes sharing direct keys, nodes anti capture ability and memory consumption are studied.Related simulation and comparison with the current schemes show that the key utilization is improved, as the same time, high key connection and security are kept. There is a contradiction between connectivity and security in typical key pre-distribution schemes. To solve this problem, a new chaos key scheme based on district-divided is proposed. The scheme updates key and reduces the network storage through group partition, and the ergodicity and initial value sensitivity of chaos was used to transmit safety information. It improves probability of key sharing greatly. Simulation results show that both the security and connectivity of Wireless Sensor Network are improved, and memory cost and communication cost are reduced largely, it has stronger applicability. The two schemes have reference value for key management research, especially for some high security requirements of applications.
