Research On The Technology Of OXC Web Services Registration And Discovery

OXC web services is that using web services technology into the network nodes-OpticalCross-connect equipment, Optical Cross-connect equipment is abstracted as some APIs orapplications which can be invoked on the Internet. The user can invoke the APIs or applications toconfiguration proprietary light path or private network, to ensure that the user can transmit a largenumber of data in high speed and accurately.There are still many problems in OXC web services realization: after service provider finishprogramming OXC web services, where the services should place, how service requester invoke theservices and find the services quickly and accurately. This thesis will mainly deal with the aboveissues.The thesis firstly introduces the research background of OXC web services for high-endapplications，then presents some questions like how to publishing and finding OXC web services.Based on ZTE ZXONE8000series device, six OXC web services, including: the card informationservice, business access services, business services, business cross transmission services, businessprotection services, business monitoring service were abstracted as web services. Detailed functionsof these services were descriped. This thesis chose the Apache’s juddi as OXC web servicesregistration center, and complete the juddi registration center; Lastly, through calling the publishAPI and inquiry API, and using the SOAP message that interacting with the registration center, theregistration and finding of OXC web services are realized. The registration of OXC web servicesare verified by checking the information of juddi database, the finding of OXC web services areverified by checking the result in the SOAP message.The purpose of this thesis is to make high-end application quickly and accurately find OXCweb services, and has a beneficial attempt for building optical network and photonic grid orientedhigh-end applications.
