With the development of network technology, traditional web service discovery technology which was lack of enough semantic information has low precision and needs better inference capability, and traditional web service based on UDDI is more and more incapable to meet the needs of supply. How to discover the exact Web Service has been the bottleneck of the wide applications of Web Service.Ontology provides powerful supporting to semantic Web and Web service. With the great growth of research on ontology technology in recent years, there are many ontology modeling languages and modeling methods appear, and the application of ontology is becoming a pop research today.P2P technology is a kind of distributed platform based on Peer-to-Peer network. There are comparability between P2P and Web services as well as complementary, and it will be a more effective web service solution that establishing web service on the P2P platform.In this dissertation, a semantic web services discovery mechaonism based on distributed UDDI and WSMO was proposed. 1 It uses WSMO framework to describe Web services, and pre-processes Web services when they are registered, and generate the Goal-Service graph which represents the relationship between goal template and Web services. By using Goal-Service graph, it reduces the search space in Web services discovery, and improves the accuracy and reliability. 2When receiving a query request, the method creates a goal instance of user's request, which is an instance of goal templates, and then search the Goal-Service graph to get the exact Web services which match the request of goal instance. 3P2P will be embedded into the Web application server, as the foundation of the Web service discovery. A distributed UDDI structure was proposed to overcome low expansibility and precision in traditional UDDI.The mechanism uses Goal-Service graph to achieve the Web services discovery, which improves the precision rate of discovery by full using advantages of the semantics of WSMO, while taking advantage of a distributed UDDI to achieve the expansibility. As depicted above, our system improves precision rates by taking full advantage of P2P network and WSMO framework. At last, through the experiments it proofs the high response rate and high-precision rate of this service discovery mechanism and the expansibility of the distributed UDDI structure.
