With the endless emerge of new business, the Internet is in the era of rapid development.Because of the increasing popularity of smart phone, the network traffic is also in a sharp increase,which brought a lot of problems: the limited bandwidth, the quality of service which can not meetthe requirements of the users and so on. Due to the inherent characteristics of the mobile network,to improve the data rate significantly is impossible. The network speed has bottlenecks in manyplaces. Because of the increasingly complex content sent over the Internet and the higher quality ofservice users required, the network managers need to optimize the network by more effective tools.The Multimedia Intelligent Controller is the platform of intelligent traffic management andcontent delivery in next generation. It is specifically designed to solve some urgent problems due tothe rapid growth of the mobile network traffic. The Multimedia Intelligent Controller is deployed inthe mobile networks, which located between the radio access network and the core network. TheMultimedia Intelligent Controller can improve the efficiency of wireless access network, and reducethe complexity of the traffic management in the core network, so the subscribers can get betterexperience.Network equipments need to go through a series of tests before put into use, the MultimediaIntelligent Controller is not an exception. This thesis tests the interface between the radio accessnetwork and the core network, the performance of the device is also tested. The performance testingincludes delay态throughput and packet loss rate. This thesis has detailed design and a series of teststeps for each test, and the results were analyzed in detail and possible reasons were given. Thisthesis provides a theoretical reference to the application of multimedia intelligent controller.
