A Simulation On Base Station Local Routing In WiMAX System

WiMAX is a3G standard, which provides the broadband wireless access solutions of the "lastmile" for business and home users.After the terminal accessing the BS, the routing protocol used inthe routing processing system is in the network layer and transport layer, which does not involve theradio frequency technology. The BS local routing system research is mainly software research anddevelopment, with less investment, so it is particularly suitable for the center companies to joinin.The WiMAX local routing system talked in this paper is adding the choosing routing at the BSside and gateway.It is very important to have a good routing mechanism and path selectionalgorithm in the system.This paper is focused on the logic in the two terminals of the same base station or the samegateway and giving the local routing algorithm and simulation when they are timely communicating.First,the paper introduces the original algorithm of WiMAX BS routing,then gives the improvedalgorithm of the original BS routing algorithm,that is the local BS routing algorithm.In thispaper,the signaling and data transmission section of WiMAX protocol is based on the text of theXML format,so the paper also discusses the problem of XML parsing and the XML parser.Thetraditional routing algorithm has CID and CID allocation management, so the paper gives thealgorithm to achieve the allocation and management of CID.The paper is the simulation of localrouting algorithm,and from the results which can prove local routing algorithm higher thantraditional routing algorithm on efficiency. The the implementation of the signaling portion of theterminal to access the BS is also introduced in the simulation.
