Compressive receiver is applied and valued widely in modern EW, because it can resolve and process lots of signals that are simultaneously present, and has advantages of simple structure, high sensitivity, wide operating band, and large probability of intercept, which can also complete the real-time spectral analysis of signal. So this thesis focuses on the study of compressive receiver.Firstly, the thesis introduces the basic theory of compressive receiver in detail. The system design program based on composite right/left handed dispersive delay line (CRLH DDL) is given, and the system index of system and each component is proposed.Secondly, a suitable CRLH DDL is selected to realize the dispersive delay line(DDL) based on comparison of a variety of techniques about CRLH DDL, and HFSS software is used for design and simulation of16-unit CRLH DDL with operating bandwidth of1.0GHz and a dispersive delay of5.75ns.Thirdly, the local sweep source is introduced and designed emphatically, which has a sweep range of1.7-2.7GHz, including the design of narrow pulse generator and local signal source. Local signal source is realized by phase-locked loop (PLL) technology; Narrow pulse generator with its output pulse width of Ins is designed through analog mode and digital mode, and the test results are compared.In the end, the thesis introduces the design method of the other components of compressive receiver, including broadband detector, filters and amplifier, and the compressive receiver test system is implemented.The test results indicate that at frequency4.1-5.1GHz, the frequency measurement accuracy of compressive receiver is less than30MHz. Therefore compressive receiver meets the design requirements.
