Gps Car Terminal Production Test System Design And Implementation

With the rapid development of China’s infrastructure, the demand of engineering vehicle is growing rapidly, which promotes the production of GPS vehicle terminal in engineering vehicles. In the face of increased production of GPS vehicle terminal and complexity increased of production testing, traditional manual inspection has been unable to meet the requirements of the production test. In order to improve production efficiency, this paper designs a set of production test system of GPS vehicle terminal.Production test system consists of PC console, test equipment and GPS vehicle terminal. By providing the input signal to the GPS vehicle terminal, measuring the output signal of GPS vehicle terminal, sending a command to get the values detected by GPS vehicle terminal and other ways to achieve the detection purpose. The system has good man-machine interface, and it can be quickly detected in accordance with the predefined processes. In addition, the test results can be displayed on the PC console and saved to Excel document to query statistics. Because of short test cycle and accurate this detection greatly improves the efficiency of the production of GPS vehicle terminal.In the beginning, this paper is according to the production test requirements to design the function of system. On this basis, the overall design of the system is given. And development of communication protocols among the PC console, test equipment and GPS vehicle terminal. Then design the hardware of the test equipment, and it includes LPC2366microcontroller.IO detection module. Next design the software of production test system, and it divided into the test equipment software implementation and the test program of GPS vehicle terminal. Last debug the system and analyze the results.The system has been used in production test of a company’s GPS vehicle terminal. It is running well and has a good practical value.
