With the target and electromagnetic environment getting complicated, the research on radar field is facing severely challenge. For carrying out the up-to-date mission, the radar requires advanced performance. The Digital Array Radar(DAR) is given more attention for its excellent precision, multi-beams and functions, low sidelobe and superior ability of adaptive anti-interference characteristics.In the paper, an Intermediate Frequency(IF) transceiver Software Define Radio(SDR) circuit of a10-channel Digital T/R module for a tracking DAR was designed and finished its validation. Besides, a few tests, such as receiving calibration, receiving beam remote pattern, low sidelobe performance, multi-beams performance and adaptive beamforming algorithm were conducted. The module is suitable for integration, transplantion and expansion. There are lots of SDR functions, including arbitrary binary phase coded waveform generation, digital beamforming(DBF) transmission, digital quadrature modulation and demodulation, baseband data pre-processing etc. Finally, the results verify all the functions and show the outstanding performance of multi-beams and low sidelobes which are below-24.5dB after remote calibration.
