Digital Array Radar is a kind of digital array scanning radar that transmits and receives beams by Digital Beamforming(DBF) technology. It has the advantage of flexible beam control, simple system structure, strong anti-jamming ability, controlled by software and so on, and is one of the main development of modern radar.This paper makes an array model combined with a certain VHF array radar, introduces the work process of DBF by transmitting and receiving two-dimensional Digital Array Radar; designs the hardware schematic circuit diagram with the using of advanced FPGA and DSP; discusses the influence of beam pointing and beam side-lobe when channel phase is not identical, introduces the work process and realized method of transmitting and receiving calibration, designs the FPGA control logic and DSP processing program of transmitting and receiving calibration; discusses the influence of multi-paths to the beam, provides the computer simulation and actual result of beam as well; provides the result of digital monopulse angle measurement with the radar and analyzes its measuring accuracy. Applies the digital monopulse technology to MIMO radar, provides a method of MIMO radar's digital monopulse angle measurement, and analyzes the angle measurement performance of different array. All paper work may be referred in other array radar.
