Energy and environment are two main factors of humans survival and development, concerned by the whole society increasingly. The advantages of efficient and low pollution of clean coal technology of circulating fluidizedbed boiler made it develop rapidly in China. In the thermal system, PID controller is the most widely used as a control strategy, The tuning quality of the controller parameters directly related to the operation of safety, economy and stability,but the characteristics of nonlinear, time-varying large delay and tightly coupled multi-variable of circulating fluidized bed boiler made the control difficult in practice. And the circulating fluidized bed boiler is very different from other pulverized coal in combustion, the traditional PID method has couldn’t meet the control requirements circulating fluidized bed boilers, therefore, this paper studied problems of controller parameter optimization of the circulating fluidized bed boiler.On the base of analysis of dynamic characteristic of circulating fluidized bed boiler, this paper analyzed experiments modeling of450t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler. This article proposed a new adaptive genetic algorithm on the base of the improved adaptive genetic algorithm. This algorithm proposed a measure indicators of early degree. The indicator neglect the impact of individuals which fitness value is less than the average fitness value in the group, resulting in improved operational efficiency, Then get the mathematical description of the algorithm on this basis.and the algorithm change the crossover probability and mutation probability on the base of this indicator, effectively prevent premature convergence of computing, then get global optimal solution. This algorithm optimized the parameters of superheated steam temperature. The simulation results show that this article completed parameters optimization by improved genetic algorithm, and gain a satisfactory result. It will play a positive reference and guide to on-site control of the circulating fluidized bed boiler.
