After allthese years, the school administrator and teachers have accumulated abundant basicinformation of students, teachers, and the information about the learning status of thestudents. Although these are the summaries of teaching and management experiencesfor many years, which aimed at set up an efficient and convenient educationadministration management system to improve the teaching and educationadministration quality, these datum are never being used before. For the expansion oftheir scale for running a school, more and more colleges and universities haveintroduced some efficient, convenient education administration systems in order toimprove the quality of teaching and education administration management. Thesesystems can store abundant datum, but it just have some simple functions such as store,inquire and etc. We can not find the connotative messages without an in-depth research.Data mining technology has developed rapidly for the last decade, which hasalready played an important role and gone deep into every aspect of our daily life andwork. We gradually proceed data mining technology in the school data management todo the effective management of the huge existing information of teaching, students andteachers. The goal of the data mining technology applies in the educationaladministration system is to realize the forecast of tendency and the establishment ofstrategy in educational administration management through gathering externalinformation, analyzing the historical data of educational administration system andfinding out the discipline. Therefore, there are still some problems to be solved, forexample, how to use information technology tools to do the decision support forteaching administrators; and how to improve the teaching quality and school records bymastering a sort of discipline through the connection between them.This thesis starts with the research status of the educational administration system,both domestically and overseas. This thesis presents the application circumstance ofdata mining technology in the educational administration system; Summarize the relevant knowledge of data mining technology, such as data warehouse (DW), datamining technologies and etc; The demand analysis of the educational administrationsystem, including the entire demand of the system and the demand of data mining in theeducational administration system is also mentioned in this article; The design of theeducational administration system, including the design of system function module,system data base, mining methods and the analysis of relevant mining and so on are allcan be find in the thesis. The design finally achieved the functions of each functionmould in the educational administration system, showing the detailed function mouldsand main function system operation interface. It can be a successful educationaladministration system which including the basic functions such as register management,data management, user management and data mining.This thesis will take an important part in improving the teaching quality andcompleting the training pattern of the students. For the data and factor is widelyinvolved in educational administration, it is difficult for us to do the overall analysis. Iwill do further research on these information in the future.
