As semiconductor technology continues to evolve, especially in the development of the programmable logic device-FPGAs, it has a faster and faster integration of the gate, has a richer interface and functionality, and thus its application is increasingly widely. This disseration is based on multiple-shift phase multicycle synchronous counting precision instantaneous frequency measurement and frequency guide the timing design by FPGA devices.thedissertation mainly studies two aspects of technology and FPGA implementation. On the one hand this dissertation analyzes the current main instantaneous frequency measure method, project method, cost and accuracy analysis, finally the project is designed to select suitable techniques required for high speed and high precision frequency measurement method. On the other hand, the project is adopted to counter as the core of the frequency guided sequential design, the sequential design greatly simplifies the traditional ROM+ASIC frequency leading technology solutions, improves the design efficiency, reduces the design cost. This design can be used FPGA realize digital instantaneous frequency measurement and rapid frequency guiding technology of single-chip, which not only reduces the occupied area compared with the traditional method, but also greatly reduces the design cost. This design does not simply stay in theory and simulation level, but through the specific circuit implementation, real object debugging and data analysis, completes the evaluationcircuit debugging and analysis of specific. This technology can satisfy the specific technical indicators and engineering requirements, and can be further extended to radar echo simulation, semi-physical simulation andelectronic warfare jamming applications, has a certain economic and social value.
