Based On Sql Small Library Management Information System Design And Implementation

Library as the center of storing books and spreading knowledge bears the task ofsending message, social education, scholarly pursuits, maintaining the arts of heritage.At present, the management methods of many small community libraries still dropbehind. Library management&borrowing level is still on the basis of paper medium,velocity of books is low, wasting a lot of manpower and fin. So, applying managementinformation technology to make books managements works standardized, systematised,programmatic.avoiding the randomness of old management methods, improved thevelocity and accuracy of information processing. Querystring effective and revising theinformation of books, it is necessary to optimize library managements works.This paper is composed of four parts: reader management, Library management,distribution management, system setup. This paper applies the Delphi programminglanguage as the applications, and SQL Service as the data base development. Designand realization of the information system for library data management.the main contentsof this paper include: the basic concept of library management information system,application technology of program development Delphi7.0, and introduction of SQLService; sysem requirements analysis, flow analysis and feasibility analysis,databaseanalysis, and implementation of systems.the train of thought about small communitylibraries system design provide the referenc for other small community libraries.
