With the fast development of computer internet and the improved of digital mediatechnology, human life and work have been verge to the networked and digitalized. humantransfer the information through the internet, adopted the net bank bought something online,or enjoy multi-media information, the publishers and film and video company provided thewide space, also broght the digital product pirate seriously. however traditional copyrightprotection method has at the end of one’s wits in the network, in this background digitalwatermark technology emerge at the right moment. in our paper we studied the digitalwatermark proposed the one security and reliable pirate protection method, and has beentested and verified.In this paper, firstly we give an outline of the situation of study and the development ofinformation hiding. Secondly, we summarize the rudimentary knowledge, including thecategory, characteristics and type of attack. And we briefly introduce the related mathematicaltheory and method. At last, we propose two video information hiding schemes. One is a videowatermarking approach based on temporal difference and discrete wavelet transform. Itcombines with human visual system features, uses block-based temporal difference to analyzethe motion information of approximate bands after discrete wavelet transform decompositionof video frames and finally embeds a binary watermark after Arnold transform to obtainedmotion activity regions. And the other is a video steganography approach based on biometricimage set. This method tries to combine biometric identification technology with informationhiding technology, analyses the correlation between the biometric image set and the videosequence for reducing the power of secret images and takes the obtained residual images assecret information which will be used to embed. And then it adopts frame-based andblock-based temporal difference to analyze the motion activity of video sequences. Finally weembed the secret information to motion regions which have higher activity.For the proposed video watermarking approach and video steganography approach, wetake MATLAB as the platform to conduct many tests, gain many exact experimental resultsand analyze them. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed methods have goodinvisibility, perfect robustness, and high security. Besides, the proposed video steganographyapproach makes use of the redundancy information, implements high capacity embedding ofsecret image sets, improve biometric recognition rate, and lays the foundation of furtherresearch.
