With the rapid development of information network technology and multimedia technique, people have to care about things like data security, privacy, copyright, protection, media information integrity and etc, as they enjoy the convenience brought by popularity of information sharing. A new branch of technology originated from information hiding technology called watermarking brought us with new hopes.Digital watermarking is a technique for embedding a secret signal (watermark) into a host media in an imperceptible fashion, aiming to protect the copyright and content authentication. Digital watermarking has a high demanding prospect on copyright protection, integrity verification, data tracing, commercial VOD.Rencently, with the development of video compression, people have been used to get all types of information. For example, people see news from web site with streaming media and people use P2P software to download videos. So video has become one of the most important content to need copyright-protect. Video watermark has become a research focus in digital watermarking technology.In this paper, several core algorithms and practical schemes are proposed based on large sum of investigations. The main contribution of this paper is listed as follows:1. Based on sum of Jordan scheme and many improvement schemes from it, a video watermarking scheme based on odd-even partition has been proposed. This scheme use built-in watermarking scheme. In the process of macroblock matching, watermarking information is embedded according to restrict the search range. This scheme doesn't affect the video quality. Because of reduce the search points, the algorithm complexith is reduced.2. Combining with the fast quick search algorithm, a novel video watermarking scheme has been proposed. Time-consuming is reduced more with this scheme.3. According to the new region partition, a novel video watermarking scheme based on region character of motion vectors has been proposed. It is easy for this scheme to resistant to disturbance in motion vectors. Meanwile, the video quality will not be affected.4. A novel video watermarking scheme based on motion vectors and mode selection has been proposed. The greatest feature of this scheme is that the bitrate can be limited effectively. And at the same time the video quality will not be affected.5. A hybrid watermarking scheme is proposed in this paper. Both the watermarking scheme based motion vectors and the watermarking scheme based on DCT coefficient are combined to use. Robust watermark is embedded to DCT coefficient and fragile watermark is embedded to motion vectors.
