Study On The Development And Application Of Books Purchasing Decision Support System

Along with the development of computer technology, network technology and database technology, Management Information System (MIS) is moving in the direction of intelligent, thus appeared in various forms of Decision Support System (DSS). Library as an information resource service agencies, how to use the new technology to provide readers with better information service and information assurance, also appeared in front of Library managers.The book purchasing of the library is the basic work and starting point, the quality of purchasing books directly determines the quality of the collection of books also determines the level of library services. The traditional book purchasing has variety of problems, such as low efficiency, strong subjectivity, low scientific etc. Library managers hope deal with these problems by finding books purchasing decision support information form daily service data.In order to better meet the needs of the readers, enhance the efficiency of the book purchasing, this thesis uses bibliography information, book circulation information, school disciplines setting and books publishing information that in the library integrated management system DP2as a data source to analysis decision factors of books purchasing and build corresponding mathematical model. This thesis also uses Microsoft SQL Server2005as the data platform, the Visual studio2010as a development platform, as well as based on.Net Framework4.0development environment and uses C#language to design a books purchasing decision support system.This thesis consists of five chapters. They are discuss the research background, significance and main contents of books purchasing; Describe the system requirements analysis, system function analysis, system source data analysis of books purchasing decision system; Detailedly discuss the design process of books purchasing decision system, including analysis and determine decision making factor, the mathematical model for decision making process, system architecture, database design and development process etc.; Focuses on using Microsoft SQL Server2005 database management system, the Visual studio2010as a development platform, as well as based on.Net Framework4.0development environment and uses C#language to design a books purchasing decision support system. Finally, use this system to the practical application of research, and make a comprehensive evaluation for the results.
