In order to meet the needs of the various processing and production, engineers designa wide variety of CNC machines and CNC equipment, numerical control technology hasbeen an unprecedented rapid development. At present, there are1,500species of the CNCmachines, and increasing the speed of more than200species per year. In order to meet therapid development of numerical control equipment, this paper presents research on openconfigurable CNC based on general motion controller. The numerical control systemstudied in this paper is the use of open CNC system "PC+motion controller" structure, theresearch objectives of this CNC system development work is divided into a hardwarestructure and software features developed in two parts, respectively, the two partsstandardized configuration, the CNC system to shorten development cycles, reduceddevelopment costs, enhance the purpose of the CNC system stability and reliability. In thispaper, the following work:1. Analysis of the development status of the CNC system, open CNC system based onmotion controller widely used in recent years, analysis of this structure CNC systemopenness and modular, summed up the formerunderstanding and contribution of theconfiguration of computer numerical control system.2. Studied the open numerical control system of hardware architecture configuration."PC+motion controller" structure of open numerical control system display interfacestandard VGA, keyboard interface, PS/2, servo-driven interface, handheld pulse generatorinterface and I/O interface, but the operator panel and there is no uniform interface. In thispaper, I/O interface expansion program, the serial program and PS/2program threeinterface solutions, and compare the advantages and disadvantages of the three options,given the scope of application of the three interface solutions..3. Open numerical control system of the software module configuration. ModularCNC system software, software configuration program. A detailed study of the G-codemodules, and motion control module, and write the configuration module JDPNC.dll.Non-real-time operating system, the use of multi-threading technology and preemptive round-robin mechanism, real-time numerical control system software developmentproblems.4.Combination of CNC turret punch press, the development of control systemsdesigned to meet the machine requirements of personalized human-machine interface, theuse of EVC programming platform in wince system developed CNC system software, themain function, the run is relatively stable.
