Research On Packet Scheduling Technology For Td-Scdma System

The thesis makes a deep research for the Packet Scheduling Algorithm of RNC (Radio Network Controller) equipment in TD-SCDMA system which is one of the3rd Generation Mobile Communication System Standard. Firstly, the thesis introduces the packet data traffic, its position in TD-SCDMA system and the important function of the Packet Scheduling Algorithm. Secondly, the author makes a deep analysis of classic Packet Scheduling Algorithm and descripts the implement of Packet Scheduling Algorithm in the RNC of TD-SCDMA system. After that, a new algorithm is putting forward which is based on dynamic setting of guarantee rate of packet traffic. According to the emulation results of the new algorithm and the fixed threshold algorithm, the thesis gives the comparison analysis, proves the feasibility and the advantage of the new algorithm.The effect of practical application also indicates that the system throughput and the time delay will be improved a certain extent with the application of the new algorithm, especially when the data bursts.
