The thesis is focused on the study of digital applications of a line structured light three-dimensional contour system, with the characteristic of low cost, high performance-price ratio, strong application, and so on. It carries out an in-depth study and discussion on the light stripe center extraction, the overall system calibration. The main content in this thesis includes:1. Discussed on the domestic and foreign research of reverse engineering technology and its applications in detail and studied the three-dimensional contour-digital technology, one of the key technologies of reverse engineering.2. Developed a set of digital three-dimensional contour system for product reverse design. Since this system can collect data from multi viewpoints from multi-viewpoints, it can complete the outline data collection by scanning the object once.3. Advanced a rapid on-site calibration method. This method requires only one coplanar target, overcomes the limitations of traditional calibration method, such as high cost of hardware devices, not suitable for rapid field calibration. A set of software system is developed by OpenCV to realize the system calibration.4. Designed the real-time display module. Using OpenGL library enables the system to display real-time measurement results friendly.5Integrated the application system. It includes hardware system module selection, design, the software development and integration of the functional modules. The results show that this application system can be widely used in transforming the objects (product prototype or sludge model) into a computer three-dimensional digital model speedily, and it is a lost cost, high effective system.
