The information plays a growing important role in the development of human society. The emergence of multimedia technology provides people with colorful experience. Especially, as a rising research domain, three dimensional multimedia mesh stream data catches more and more people’s attention. Scientific life can produce a large scare of this kind of data. It brings us lots of pressure on store and transmittal, while offer plentiful information. Therefore, it is significant to do research on compression technology of three dimensional mesh streams.Currently, academic circles proposed a lot of compressing methods toward three dimensional mesh stream. On the one hand is single mesh-oriented, on the other hand is multi meshes-oriented. In general, most of these methods are erected by basing on offline. There is few researcher attained outstanding achievement on online respect. However, in practical scientific life, three dimensional mesh stream data seem to be generated continuously. Thence it needs to be compressed timely in order to save transmission bandwidth and storage space. For the above reasons, we consider this dilemma and pay plenty of research on compression of three dimensional mesh streams.First of all, by taking the characteristics of three dimensional mesh stream data into account, we propose one method that based on ICP algorithm can match vertexes between frame to frame. Secondly, we innovatively propose a dual clustering ideal, one is horizontal clustering that can cluster the similar number of frames into one cluster via K-means method; the other is vertical clustering that can find the rigid parts of mesh and cluster the vertexes and triangles into one cluster. Next, we propose one compressing thinking that be able to filter the redundant information in them. In the end, we conducted large numbers of experiments on simulated datasets, the result we got would prove that our method can not only efficiently compresses three dimensional mesh stream data but also ensures the compression process within certain tolerance.
