| During the process of golf swing movement analysis, the analysis system which depends on the modern digital image processing technology is playing a more and more important role. As an auxiliary means of teaching, it is capable of overcoming the drawbacks of traditional golf teaching and helping learners to grasp the tips of swing because of its intuitive, efficient and other features which gets more and more attention of golf enthusiasts. Golf swing movement has a unique pattern, so researching of identification, detection and analysis technology shows great potential during the swing.In this thesis, I develop a golf swing analyzer system using image recognition technology based on video capture and video processing. The system using front-cameras and acquisition card records golf swing movement videos to the specified file, and adds variety of analysis tools on the process of the basic video playback and comparison.So we can analyze of the action video by the graphics and lines.After the basic video capture and analysis function can meet the needs of golf teaching,this thesis develops a set of image recognition algorithm.It ultimately gets the trajectory of swing process by the captured sequence images’graying,background extraction,median filtering,binarization and other processing using background-subtraction method.It determines the movement of the specified body parts during the swing and alarms by comparing the changes in two adjacent frames using frame-difference method. The analyzer system can help practitioners to correct the golf swing movement, and makes golf teaching more intuitive with the later development of the human-computer interface and simple file management module. After a large number of field test,it can meet the requirements of golf teaching.Firstly, the thesis gives an overview of the subject’s background and research status in domestic and international, and give a brief introduction about video capture and digital image processing technology.Then, I propose the overall design of the analyzer system and the hardware and software structure. On this basis, the basic development situation and process of each system module has be discussed in detail. After that, the thesis focuses on the specific application and implementation of motion detection technology in the analyzer system. Finally, debug and analyze the system, summary the full thesis and make a future prospect of the system development. |
