Design And Implementation Of The Computer Room Management System Based On.NET Platform

Computer room of the Computing Center shoulders the important task of computer teaching, laboratory work and curriculum design, as well as providing a teaching and learning environment for all the students in the university. Every year, it has to serve nearly1,000,000hours for computer teaching. At the same time, the available computer rooms also provide paid service for other students after class. Even though, it is found that there are still some problems on the management of computer rooms.This paper comprehensively analyses the existing problems of the management of computer rooms, based on which works out a solution of changing the existing network topology in order to establish a separate domain of the Windows Server environment. And it also designs and implements the domain user management system and the management of network printing services billing system.Firstly, design the network topology of the experimental teaching computer room in Computer Center, and facilitate the achievement management of Windows Server domain. The computers in the computer room rely on the DHCP server and DNS server to realize to access to network DNS dynamic service and IP address allocation service. Create a Windows domain, establish a server cluster. The use of SCCM2007, ISA Server2006and Windows SteadyState function of the realization of the experimental teaching computer room domain management.Secondly, through the use of C#language.NET provides the Active Directory service programming interface, Design and Implementation of a domain user management system. The system uses user-friendly interface, Achieved in the Active Directory add user, Roaming user profile, Distribution network for the user disk and organizational unit for users to implement Group Policy restrictions.Thirdly, use Windows built-in printing function to realize the charging system for network printing services; use the programming interface of.Net to print queue information in real-time acquisition and accounting; according to the user group, realize the pre-charging management. The system includes printing information collection, fees management, printing bills modules, and so on. It can accurately print network accounting management services.Finally, we designed a B/S architecture system for the computer room management by the use of Microsoft.NET Framework, and developed a student-oriented application subsystem. The system applied N-tier architecture, and provided query, network printing, personal information management (PIM), online service and e-learning functions. After several-month pilot study, the system proved rich-functionality, availability, reliability and stability.and received student users’positive feedbacks.
