Along with multimedia business development, Wireless local area network(Wireless LAN) has been developing rapidly.People demand Wireless LAN supporthigh-speed transmition and large-scale network. In large-scale intensive business environment, the dynamic distribution loadamong multiple APs in the same extended service set result in low resource utility andevently resource waste. The proposed approach to allocate fixed bandwidth to every APcould not tackle dynamical unbalance distribution load. With the high throughput modelin IEEE802.11n and the new trend of Wireless LAN, study of frequency resourceallocation in Wireless LAN becomes a hot spot.We proposed a frequency assignment plan with channel bonding for nextgeneration Wireless LAN. Base on split-MAC architecture, the plan allocates flexiblebandwith to each AP according its dynamical business demand. The simulation resultsby MATLAB show the plan prevent network from congestion and obviously improvefrequency efficiency, quality of service and network capacity. Finally, we partlyimplemented the plan on demo experiment platform on the system of Linux.Theperformance is stable and reliable.
