Wireless ad hoc network can transmit high-quality multimedia information streams without infrastructure support,which has extremely high application value in some network scenarios.MAC protocol controlls the network channel access,and provides an important guarantee for the quality of the network's communication.Therefore,the design and study of MAC protocol is very important for wireless ad hoc networks with fast node mobility and obvious topological changes.This paper studies the MAC protocol based on TDMA technology,and designs a distributed time-slot assignment algorithm that can adapt to the scenario of wireless ad hoc networks.At the same time,it guarantees low latency and high throughput of the network.This paper studies the delay of TDMA technique and the theoretical analysis of the method of reducing delay.The traditional dynamic slot allocation algorithm often only considers the slot allocation without collision in the distributed scenario,but does not formulate the order of the slot allocation,and finally causes the slot sequence is not the same to the data flow order.Aiming at the scheduling delay problem caused by the inconsistent order of the slot assignment and the data stream,a SAOPPS-TDMA protocol using the adaptive main slot swap technology is proposed.The protocol designs the super-frame structure,implements the neighbor discovery strategy and slot assignment based on the priority list,and uses the slot swap to adjust the order of the slots to the data flow order.As to multiple data streams in the network,the swap criteria based on the value of data stream is designed to solve the problem of slot optimization.The simulation results show that the SAOPPS-TDMA protocol has better delay and throughput characteristics.This paper studies the model of network throughput and finds that in the TDMA protocol,the network throughput can be effectively enhanced by improving the utilization of slots.The traditional slot allocation algorithm can not reuse the slots enough due to the exposure of the terminals or the asymmetric topologies.Therefore,the slot correction algorithm is proposed in this paper.The algorithm can reuse more slots through the dynamic slot discovery process to improve the slot utilization.At the same time,the slot correction algorithm can also detect the existence of the slot conflict in the network,and can solve the conflict slots and improve the communication quality of the network.The simulation results show that the slot correction algorithm can reuse the slots well.When the data load is small,the slot correction algorithm can increase the average slot occupancy of the node by about 1.8 slots.When the data load is high,the slot correction algorithm can also increase the average slot occupancy of the node by about 0.9 slots.Slot correction algorithm can improve network throughput and reduce data latency.
