Global satellite navigation systems are widely used in many military and civilianfields. However, satellite navigation receivers are vulnerable to intentional orunintentional electromagnetic interferences which cause them can not work properly.The problem is more serious in the military applications. Therefore, the development ofanti-jamming receiver which can overcome various kind of interferences’ influence onthe satellite navigation ranging and positioning precision is very important. At present,the “Compass II” receiver anti-jamming technology has become one of the hot researchtopics for user terminal applications. In order to solve the problem, this paper focuseson the key components design for the "Compass II" anti-jamming receiver, and aprototype is realized. The test result for the prototype is given at the end of the paper.The overall design and working principle, the anti-jamming algorithms and thearchitecture for the "Compass II" anti-jamming receiver are described firstly. Theperformance of the algorithm is evaluated.Secondly, by comparing the performance of a few types of commonly used antennaarray, microstrip antenna is selected as the unit for antenna array. By comparing thesimulation results of a square layout and a Y-shaped layout antenna array, we chose theY-shaped layout antenna array. Through the analysis of the array element spacing, wecome to the conclusion that the antenna array with half-wavelength uniform distributionof the array unit has the optimal performance. The impact of the pattern inconsistenciesand antenna array mutual coupling is also analyzed. As to the RF channel moduledesign, the detailed analysis of the link gain, system linearity, system dynamic rangeand system noise index is given in this paper. Based on the analysis results above, thekey indexes for the RF channel module are listed. The detailed design for the RFchannel module down-converter, the key components of the up-converter, the frequencysource and the power splitter are given.Finally, for the development of "Compass II" anti-jamming receiver, we set up ananechoic chamber test environment and test the anti-jamming performance under a variety of interference conditions. Our test results show that the developed "CompassII" anti-jamming receiver has good anti-jamming performance.
