Library management information system in the past, many of which developed based on the traditional C/S model, these C/S based library management systems have many problems, such as:the use of the client is not easy to grasp; it is rather difficult for a lower level of computer end-user; more and more applications on the clientare affecting the efficiency of the system; in addition, every client change may result in the re-installation, commissioning and maintenance work on the number of clients, the large work load will also increases the maintenance costs; the scalability, openness, advancement, intelligent and distribution of the system is not strong.Therefore, how to design a better, more efficient, more intelligent library management system is becoming an important issue. This paper describes the design and development process of a library management system based on the B/S,.The system uses the C#language as a development language, SQL Server2005as back-end database, using ADO.NET technology to achieve data access. Firstly, the paper analyzes the system requirements from several aspects as the user requirements, functional requirements, performance requirements,etc.; then according to the system proposes features modular design, database design, etc.; furthermore, realize the system based on. NET and VS2005platform, using C#programming language, SQL SERVER2005database. The main function of the library management system based on B/S, includes the library management, the reader management, the loan management, and the system maintenance. Finally, a test on the system is designed. |
