With the rapid development of network technology and multi-media technology, video services are playing a more and more important role in the field of network communications. The demands of video communication services such as video conferences, streaming media online are increasing as well. However, the Internet and wireless network nowadays cannot supply high reliability, high quality, and results in the video datas loss and error when transmitted. Due to the particularity of the network video service, the structures of IP network cannot guarantee the Qos and the bandwidth for the video transmission, which may bring network congestion and important datas lost when video transmission. The decoder quality image restoration drops greatly. In this paper, special emphasis is given on the network congestion for video transmission and the high efficiency of temporal error concealment technique for H.264, and a guarantee Qos quality video transmission scheme is designed. We adopted a different transmission priority strategy based on video frame type. Meanwhile, simulate the procedure of H.264stream through the wireless multi-hops network structures and verify the availability of this scheme. At the decoder of wireless structures, we study the error concealment algorithms nowdays, and then an error concealment algorithm named multi-mode multi-direction extended boundary matching algorithm is proposed. The new algorithm utilizes the multi direction in vertical, diagonal, and anti-diagonal to calculate the boundary pixels errors and uses the threshold to estimate the lost macroblock partition mode. This method overcomes the drawback of low motion vector predictive precision. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high reconstructed images, and also has better quality in both subjectivity and objectivity.
