Design And Implementation Of The Mobile Core Module Based On BREW Platform

With the rapid development of wireless communications industry, people’sdemands on powerful, personality mobile phone with friendly user interface are moreand more intense, which promote the Mobile platform system to be more open, efficient,and thin. The paper designed a Core module based on BREW(Binary RuntimeEnvironment for Wireless) platform. Core module is mainly responsible for the processof power on and off and the overall control on mobile phone.BREW is an end-to-end open solution, which has perfect business model.According to the analysis on software architecture of BREW platform and theapplication requirements, a core module with powerful and strong human-machineinteraction from boot initialization to standby screen display is designed. In view toexpand core module’s function, a multi-task manager based on BREW platform isdesigned and implemented with the use of standard interface of BREW, whichimproved user’s experience greatly and implemented intelligent management of appleton phone preliminary.
