Design And Implementation Of IT Process Automation Management System

Currently, about60%to70%of the IT human resources are consumed in theroutine work in datacenter. Appropriate IT automation can reduce the consumption ofhuman resources and help data center operators to achieve the goals of saving cost. Asa type of IT automation, the IT process automation more and more reflect its value inthe modern data center management.Reference to the design ideas of foreign IT process automation managementsoftware and analysis of the basic principles of the IT process management system,based on the user’s actual needs, this project designes an IT process automationmanagement system consisting of the master controller and the programmablecontrolled client. The function of master controller includes the fixed businessprocesses control, the management of arbitrary function, the management of processcontrol state, parameter and configuration management, user login and authenticationmanagement; programmable controlled client can perform the relative operationobeying the instructions from master controller and return the operation results to themaster controller. In order to ensure the effective delivery of the instructions andresults between master controller and client, the system uses message queue as thecommunication way. Joining the heartbeat message into the message, master controllercan keep the live state of the controlled client,the enhanced system’s reliability canmeet the requirements of enterprise data center’s operation and maintenance.The system is builded on an open-source platform for low cost. Meanwhile, thesystem design can meet the reliability requirement of data center management, it has acertain practicality, and has actually uesd in an enterprise data center,it plays a positivepromoting role to reduce the operational costs of the data center.
