Research On Key Server System Based On High-speed Railway

On-board Unit exchange information with the track next to the Radio Block Centre,or other safety equipment associated with interactive information using wirelesscommunication protocols. As these security devices communicate with each other usingauthentication keys, a special system is needed for key management and identificationto achieve the authentication key management. Key server system is a key managementdevice, and its main function is generating, updating, abolishing the key passenger line,operating log recording and querying, user management, key backup calibration, andcommunication between client and server.This thesis studies the functional requirements of the key server system which isused during the communication among security device in the CTCS-3Passenger TrainControl System for the application of research, design and implementation. The maincontent and progress of the key server system in design stage is summarized.First, the functional requirements of key server system in Europe and the domesticare introduced according to ETCS specifications, CTCS specifications, offline keymanagement function interface specification and online key server functionalityinterface specification. By comparing the functional requirements of the key serversystem at home and abroad, the thesis comes to the conclusion that the C/S DesignPattern should be used in the key server system designed in this thesis.Second, the thesis demonstrates the key server-side client and server operatingdesign, software processes, interface methods and data flow diagram through analyzing,the basic needs of the domestic key server system, and the design of key server systembased on C/S model from the overall design of the key server system are accomplished.Then, the thesis, starting from the experimental environment, does functionaltesting of the client and server-side, which is based on C/S mode key server system,according to the experiment content. Through the test, the thesis verifies whether thekey server system implements the function of a domestic key server system and fulfillsthe domestic demand in key standards required.Finally, the thesis summarizes the work done, and points out work still needs to doand the direction for further research.
