Electronic warfare is an offensive and defensive double-edged killer in modern high-tech war, the objective of the operation is to reduce or weaken the enemy’s combat effectiveness and to maintain and enhance the combat effectiveness of one’s own. Electronic warfare is not to "destroy" the enemy’s effective strength, but attack or paralysis of the enemy military information systems and reduce the efficiency of the attack of the enemy’s precision-guided weapons systems, making it the loss of combat effectiveness. Electronic warfare technology is divided into several types of electronic reconnaissance, electronic interference, electronic destroy and stealth. The radar is important electronic reconnaissance equipment and means of reconnaissance in modern electronic warfare. In the field of electronic interference, how to suppress the enemy’s radar reconnaissance effect is the subject what need to study. The high-power Ultra-Wideband transmitter is a very important device against radar reconnaissance effect.High-power ultra-wideband pulse interference is one of the important research topics in the field of electronic countermeasure, by more and more attention because of its wide spectrum disturbance characteristics. The generation and radiation of high power ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulse are the subject studied in this thesis, the investigation of the two subjects is summarized of the engineering and the theory. This thesis analyzes the current status quo of ultra-wideband technology and high-power pulse generator technology, combination of small and medium-power ultra-wideband pulse source antenna array for spatial power combination, achieve the goal of high-power launch skillfully. And it studied the ultra-wideband pulse generator technology, TEM ultra-wideband horn antenna, the pulse signal delay control and power combining key technologies. Successfully developed a0.3-2GHz ultra-wideband pulse transmitter prototype.By testing, all indicators of the transmitter achieves the project requirement, Finally, using this transmitter to interfere with a radar of L-band, once open the transmitter, the number of targets that the radar can detected is significantly reduced with the increase of pulse repetition frequency, and finally almost lost the ability of reconnaissance objectives. Testing and experiments show that the transmitter indicators to meet the project requirements, and the transmitter can be well interfere with L-band radar.
