With the rapid development and improvement of computer scienceand technology, numerous algorithms have appeared in various applicationfields. At the same time, there is still much manpower and time used todevelop new algorithms each year. But unfortunately, there is not aneffective algorithm management system, thus leading to a waste ofresources doing repetitive work in design and use of algorithms. And thisproblem will be worse with the increase of amount of algorithms. Inaddition, the algorithms are too many to be managed effectively by asingle man. Therefore, this paper presents a system based on database tofulfill the work of algorithm management and optimal selection.Additionally, this paper chooses SAR speckle suppression as an exampleto elaborate the design and realization of the system.First of all, this paper gives a general introduction to the systemmodel. After introducing the basis of data management technology anddatabase system, this paper raises the model of database-based algorithmmanagement and optimal selection. This paper also introduces modules ofthe model and their functions. Then this paper introduces the strategy ofhow to deal with an application with a plurality of processing procedures.A simple introduction of how to choose the strategy is also given.Secondly, this paper introduces the mechanism of SAR imaging andthe mechanism of speckle forming. Then the speckle data scene modeland local statistical features of SAR images are introduced. And a reviewand summary of classical algorithms of speckle suppression is given.Then, the system used on SAR speckle suppression is designed. And the choice of system architecture, choice of database, the design ofdatabase model, search for match data, evaluation for results, and solutionsof problems in various fields during system development are given indetail.At last, an experiment is used to verify the feasibility of the system.The further research prospect is also given by this paper.
