With the development of hydraulic transmission and control technology,electro-hydraulic actuator is widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgyand other modern industrial control system. With pressure fluid as power source, theelectro-hydraulic actuator adjust the system pressure, temperature, flow and other parametersthrough the valve opening degree adjustment. Based on the rapid development ofmicroprocessor technology and industrial automation instrument technology rise,in order toadapt to the high quality, high speed industrial control requirements, the development of anew intelligent electro-hydraulic actuator become the goal of a large of Scientists andtechnologists to pursue.This article firstly analyzed the composition, characteristics and performance index ofthe whole electro-hydraulic actuator. it is composed of two parts,consists of a controller anda actuator.where the actuator controller is the core technology of realization of IntelligentElectro-Hydraulic Actuator. The article designed for the development of the actuator controlunit.Using of ATmega16L single-chip microcomputer as the core controller, intelligentcontroller based on the actual requirements of industrial field, through the opening of thevalve control signals and the position feedback signal acquisition, conversion, calculation andcomparison, sends a control signal to decide and carry out reversing valve reversing, ACservo motor ’s start and stop operation, promote the hydraulic cylinder rod extension, thenmake the valve angle size, the opening percentage of precise positioning. Using a lineardisplacement sensor as valve position feedback signal detection, using a Holzer type currenttransformer as the motor current, voltage signal detection device,using closed loop controlmode, and the addition of a liquid crystal display, RS-485serial digital communicationmodule, realizes the remote or local man-machine dialogue, and adopt a variety of fault signalprotection and anti-jamming measures, so that the whole system has the good functionexpansibility and stability, relatively common actuators, more in line with the intelligent,digital, artificial standard.In order to verify the rationality of the design theory, undertook a large number oflaboratory test and industrial test, the experimental results show that, this intelligentelectro-hydraulic actuator controller Conformed to industrial site requirements, its control precision achieved the desired goal, finally this new electro-hydraulic actuator is used inindustrial production, the theory is applied to engineering practice.
