Research And Implementation Of Home Networks Based On Hybrid Network

With the rapid development of information society, there is a growing demand for smarthome. It is just this demand prompting the good development of smart home, and lots ofproducts have been invented. Now most of the products are dominated by the products ofinformation appliances, and achieve intelligent home control through hardware. But ascommunication technology continues to evolve, the cost, upgrading and related functionsof these methods all have certain disadvantages, pose some obstacles to the developmentof the smart home.The method, which achieves interconnection of devices in the house through theestablishment of a network, is not a new idea. Network is an information carrier,intelligent home networks achieved control information transmission through theestablishment of a network. As wireless communication technology continues to mature,lots of advantages could be gained by wireless networks, such as lightweight equipment,easy to upgrade and so on.This article will mainly focus on achieving smart home control system by using intelligenthome networks, a hybrid control network will be formed by combining all sorts of existingcommunication technology. Upper layer control protocol will be designed to ensure thesmart home controlling through data transmission. The major networking establishmentmethod is combining all existing house wired networks, WiFi networks, GPRS networksand ZIGBEE networks (network of things), and then forming a feasible controllingnetworks, and designing application level networks protocol, and finally achieved controlto the smart home. In the design and implementation, there will be three majorcomponents: ZIGBEE networks component, GPRS/WiFi networks component and housegateway component, they will be responsible for the wireless control informationtransmission in the house, and remote data transfer and data decoding and re-transferring.The completed intelligent home networks have met the smart control demands, and havesome features like energy saving, low cost, and easy to upgrade.
