Application And Research Of Wireless Sensor Network To Intelligent Home System

The progress of micro-electronics technology, computer technology and wireless communication promotes the fast development of low-power consumption and multi-function sensor and makes the sensor integrate many functions as information collection, data processing and wireless communication in its small volume. Wireless sensor network is composed of many cheap micro-sensor nodes which are placed in the watch area. It's a network system of multi-hop and self-organization formed by wireless communication. Its aim is that it can feel, collect and process information of object within the net and send the information to observer. Sensor, object and observer are three important points of wireless sensor network.This paper takes intelligent home system as its background, mainly studies watching temperature and human pyroelectric infrared in the house by putting the technology of wireless sensor network into intelligent home system. Firstly, the paper introduces the source and development of wireless sensor network and intelligent home, and analyses deficiency of intelligent home system at present and difficulty of putting the technology of wireless sensor network into intelligent home system. The paper designs the four parts of nodes according to the definition of wireless sensor network nodes, particularly introduces character and circuit principle of every elements. Then the paper introduces the design of the communication protocol, mainly introduces the design of MAC layer protocol and route protocol. The paper designs the topology which is best fitted into intelligent home network on the basis of comparing several popular topology, and also designs the driver of nodes and the program which makes the communication protocol come ture, then forms a little network to make the information collecting of temperature and human pyroelectric infrared and multi-hop transmitting come true. At last, the paper summarizes design work, then expects the bright prospect of intelligent home system which is on the basis of wireless sensor network.
