With the rapid development of the Internet, getting knowledge from huge amounts ofWeb information has become a very important skill. At present the data Miningtechnology using in the Internet data Mining (Web Mining) has become the key of manyresearch fields. Web log mining is a branch of Web data mining, we can use thistechnology to find some implied regular knowledge that when the user and Web serverinteract to generate data. In this way, we can get more information of the frequency andbehavior patterns which the users get access the site, so as to facilitate the website designstaff to get on well with the user’s preferences and habit.After introducing related knowledge about the Web log mining association rules andApriori algorithm, I analyzed the needs of Web log mining system, and when coming in anoutline design I built the system function structure. The system is divided into four modules,including log acquisition module, the log pretreatment module, log mining modules andstatements display module, and then described the main work of the system process. Whenentering the description in detail I focused on describing the core of the algorithm of eachfunction module which was designed in the realization, and also gave the specificimplementation.The beginning of the system strictly used the software engineering standard as thecriterion. Taking the classical three layer model as the system development model made thesystem low coupling, in order to improve the maintainability and reusability of the code.Using this system to mine Web log on association rules can effectively get the frequentmode of users, and it achieved the desired effect.
