In the angle measuring system, not only dose the Resolver have the strong ability, whichadapts to the situation of harsh conditions, but it also has the advantages of high accuracy, lowcost, long life, easy installation, fast, good stability, etc. So the resolver is applied in the fieldsof aviation, aerospace, mechanical design, manufacture, digital turntable, top platform, radarantennas, navigation, guidance, theodolite, etc.FPGA is the fourth-generation product of the programmable logic device (PLD), Thereare independent I/O interfaces and logic unit CLB inside FPGA. As the flexibility andapplicability, it is suitable for the complex logic design, FPGA chip is the best choice toimprove the system integration, reliability and speed.Resolver is the research object in this paper. By a new design thinking, a anglemeasurement system for single-channel resolver based on FPGA, working under identifingphase, is designed. And another angle measurement system for dual-channel resolver based onFPGA, working under identifing amplitude, is designed too. This paper carrys out a specificresearch on the combination and error correction of two channel data, which comes from thedual-channel resolver. These two types of resolver angle measuring system are verified finally.According to the result of the simulation and engineering practice, these two types of resolverangle measuring system achieve the design functions of the scheme commendably, and meetthe high-precision, high-speed conversion of the design requirements.
