Hospital Laboratory Information Management System Developed Based On The C#Language

After more than20-year of development, Laboratory Information ManagementSystem has been popularized among domestic medical institutions. But on the whole,most products of domestic laboratory information management system still stay in thelevel of data storage, inspection report printing, work task arrangement. Only someproducts have reached administrative levels that can provide service for the laboratorymanagement decisions.LIMS is an important part of hospital information construction. With thedevelopment of economy hospital lab business is developing rapidly. Hospitalmanagers and users has put forward higher request of LIMS. Mainly focus on thefollowing points:(1) expanding the scope of management of LIMS system,simplifying operational procedures.(2) importing bar code technology to realize theconversion between equipments and LIMS instruments from one-way transmissionway to double automatic data transmission way.(3) making reasonable use ofspecimen.(4) intelligent lab information management system.(5) standardized labinformation management system.(6) establishing a center lab which is beneficial totransmission.Taking the laboratory information management system of a medical institutioncenter as the research subject, this text induces and summarizes according to thedefects of using LIMS. Design and develop a set of safe and high efficientlaboratory information management system which is flexible in structure and is ofgood expansibility. This system uses C/S structure. It supports multiple sortingsample information and sample results transmission. We conduct softwaredevelopment according to the methodology of software development and normal stepswhich include demanding research, general design, detailed design, code and test. Therealization of technology use three-layer system structure which is build with C#language. Database use SQL SERVER2005for background database management.LIMS also use other technical means, like Web Service, plus-ins, LINQ,asynchronous, etc. The system obtains good application effect after being put into useand achieves the expected.
