With the rapid development of IT and computer network technology, the construction ofenterprise storage management gradually formed the scale. The Needs and ideas offoreign-funded enterprises are driving the management of information technology andconstruction of warehouse management in China, and Warehouse Management has entered anew stage of barcode-based information management.Recently, with the maturity of barcode technology and the popularity of the PDA,portable warehouse material management system based on barcode technology has improvedthe efficiency and level of automation of the warehouse operations significantly. For complexmatching accessories manufacturing enterprises, it is necessary to establish a set of warehousemanagement systems that suitable for their business processes.The paper analyzed the status of existing logistics and warehousing informationtechnology, and pointed out the problems in the existing warehouse management. The paperlearned from the successful experience of existing warehouse management informationsystem based on the results of relevant research and practice, then analyzed the warehousemanagement process on the basis of one major manufacturing enterprise, designed andrealized the visualization warehouse management system based on tree coding. The mainworks in this thesis are as follows:(1) Established a set of tree coding schema. In the design and development process, wedefined the equipment structure tree on complex relationship between equipment and their attachments, and based on this, we used barcode technique to establish a set of equipment treestructure of encoding mechanism in the system. This schema can define the relationshipbetween all kinds of equipments, and solve the problem of disorder between equipment andtheir subordinate attachments by connecting the out barcode and in barcode.(2) Designed and realized the visualization query and management function. In the MIS,we use the technology of.Net Framework and C#to realize the visualization query ofequipments, which can display the equipment information that are in the warehouse, it is alsofor the convenience of the management on storage and ex-warehouse. It has the characteristicof good visual effects and convenient operations.(3) Designed and realized the visualization warehouse management system. The systemused the Web Service architecture, it realized the integration of all kinds of informationsystems, and the system achieved truly mobile and seamless integration of all aspects to makemanagement more transparent and handier. The system is composed of MIS and PDA system.PDA system is in charge of operation in warehouse, it’s function module includes inspection,inventory management, outbound processing, ex-warehouse processing and so on, and MISsystem is in charge management in office, which function contains arrival information entry,query, information modification, and matching processing, equipments statistics, barcodeprinting.The creation of the system greatly improved the work efficiency of the warehouse staff,achieved the items of information fast, accurate, real-time entry, materials for the library andshift library conveniently. The system has a high use value and economic benefits.
