With the increasingly fierce market competition, many domesticmanufacturers imported so much foreign advanced production equipment inorder to increase the competitiveness of products on the market. The companyfaced a dilemma about the maintenance and renovation work of importedequipment. Some technology and experience from the applicationof control system are summed up in this paper.This paper contains two contents: the renovation of flow controlsystems, and the application of domestic Delta servo controller. At present,the two renovation projects have been successfully used in the ion-exchangeequipment,and plays an important role for the running of the equipmentThe frequency variable inverter technology and PLC control technologyare discussed in detail. The Performances of some PLC generally applied inour country are compared. For the programmable logic controller, theworking principle,design method,reliability and the combination withfrequency variable inverter are analyzed. The basic theory and method ofautomatic control of industrial field based on the integration of PLC andfrequency variable inverter are investigated. According to the functionalrequirement of imported continuous ion-exchange equipment, a controlsystem with the integration of PLC and frequency variable inverter isdesigned.Through above research work,design method and procedure of PLC andinverter applied in industrial field are proposed,it includes the selection anddesign of hardware and software system, application program, programdebugging,hardware connection, design and realization of the man-machine interface,etc. The integration of PLC and inverter,and speed adjustingmethod have important reference value in practice.Because of the application of frequency variable speed adjustingtechnology in the flow control system of imported continuous ion-exchangeequipment, flow closed loop control is realized successfully. Due to thelinkage control with "turntable", it solves the difficult problem of highpressure inside the pipeline when rotating and improves the stability of thewhole control system. Because the control system is based on PLC module asthe core and the human-computer interaction based on touch-screen, systemautomation and stability have been greatly improved.Regarding servo control, this paper puts emphasis on the discussion offollowing point:the servo motor made error for the locating incorrectly whenthe turntable rotated a working position. Through the calibration and thecommissioning, the parameter setting of servo is completed, Domestic Deltaservo has been successfully applied to imported equipment.
