Since2010,dating show has been stangding out to the fore and taking the lead from various TV programs. A stream of blind date boomed in the television screen. The program If You Are the One is the typical representative of this feast. Excellent program production and new romantic dating mode call the attention of many audiences and the net friends.Under the guidance of related theories, this thesis does preliminary analysis and researches on the program’s audiences. Firstly, the thesis combs three development booms of TV dating shows in China, and analyses the background of the third upsurge of the hit dating shows on TV from three aspects including external pressure, open-mindedness and profit-making.Next, the thesis provides a broad idea of the program If You Are the One, analyses its ceativity, such as successfully holding three special overseas programmes and special performance. According to related statistics, the thesis analyses the program’s audiences, especially internet audiences and their usage behavior.The key to the thesis is deeply elaborating on audiences with related psychological theory, communicational theory and social theory. The conclusions are as follows: theory of psychological distance, empathy and curiosity play an important role in the reasons that audiences appreciate, enjoy and approve of this program. Audiences have opportunities to enter for the program,comment on many issues and communicate with others on the internet to meet their needs, which make the audiences accumulate their feelings sufficiently. From the aspect of sociology,internet can make various audiences get together, and in turn, the gathering groups let individual involve in program deeper.Finally, the thesis briefly analyses the relationship between the audiences and program, and development trend of future television audiences in advancing eyes.
