Today, the virtual reality technology has been widely applied to the areas ofmilitary, aerospace, medical treatment, games, etc. However, in our country, theresearch and application of virtual reality technology in coal mine tunnel environmentare steal in initial stage. Particularly, the researches about application of combiningvirtual reality technology with mine fire escape routes are very few. Based on thistechnology, mine fire escape path simulation system can enhance the effectiveness ofunderground fire rescue, especially the efficiency of self-help. It plays an importantguiding significance in protecting the safety of mine production.This paper focus on the simulation of mine fire escape path. Under the support ofnew technology, it achieved the3D virtual simulation of the underground tunnelquickly and efficiently, studied the generation algorithm of mine fire escape path, andmade the resulting escape path into the pattern of3D visualization.The main content is just as follow:(1)The article introduced advanced3D underground tunnel modeling methods,key technologies and real-time3D tunnel model visualization technology, whichprovided theoretical foundation for achieving the virtual simulation of undergroundtunnel.(2)Establish tunnel attribute information system tables and mine fire escaperouting information system tables, and saved them in the database of mine fire escapepath simulation system. This system can achieved the hierarchical management ofattribute information, which made the management, query, analysis, updates andmaintain of date more easier.(3)Based on particle theory, this article studied the generation method of firecomplex fuzzy model.(4)Studied classical path search algorithm, on which to optimize and generatepath search algorithm among complex3D underground tunnel.(5)On the basis of VC++6.0development platform and MFC technology, this article achieved mine fire escape path simulation system.
