Adaptive Wireless Network Security Technology Research And Application

Wireless local area network (WLAN) is a network technology that is developingactively these days. Open WLAN is being used increasingly, now the City wirelesshotspot project which is holding by the three major telecom operators of China are allbased on Open WLAN. There is no architecture level data protect on Open WLAN, alsothere is no credible third-party group to provide and maintain the secure private key forusers, result as it’s very difficult to use public key encryption to build traditional securitycommunication model in this network mode. So, it’s hard to find a method that canapply public key encryption to protect data in Open WLAN. However, network sniffingtools become more intelligent and complex now for hacking the data in the OpenWLAN, so security protection and prevent data tampering is very difficult. Securitycommunication systems that are based on Open WLAN have no mature products, sothis article is based on research on Open WLAN implementation of a network securitycommunication system."Energy Conservation into the Community" wireless system will base on OpenWLAN, the purpose is to protect user data that deliver in Open WLAN."EnergyConservation into the Community" wireless system is divided into two modules whichare adaptive wireless network security platform and "Energy Conservation into theCommunity" promotional platform. All researches are mainly based on adaptivewireless network security platform.The research on adaptive wireless network security system is mainly based onblock cipher algorithm and homomorphic encryption algorithm, this article propose toimplement a block cipher algorithm named Whisper and a homomorphic encryptionalgorithm named Curve. The Whisper algorithm is a fast block cipher algorithm that isadapted to short plain-text, while on the same condition, Whisper algorithm is fasterthan AES algorithm, and more security than Blowfish algorithm. The article is alsopresenting a security scheme that to exchange shared user private key based on Curve homomorphic encryption algorithm, through this scheme the system can exchange theshared private key from two points without the security key that is provided by thethird-party organizations. Curve algorithm is also used in the multiple encryptionmethod, the multiple encryption method achieve the adaptive property for encryption.Adaptive wireless network security platform uses the Collinder security orientedprotocol collection and the tiered Agent to integrate encryption algorithm research. Byusing the encryption alogrithm Collinder protocol collection can protecting user datawhen the system sending this data, while Collinder protocol collection will support thesecurity shared key exchange scheme based on Curve algorithm, and the protocolcollection is also support adaptive encryption based on multiple encryption method. Thetiered Agent which is based on Collinder protocol collection is responsing forprocessing data transfer under Collinder protocol collection, and also it is responsing thedata to complete the demand of the system."Energy Conservation into the Community" wireless promotional platform is aachieve layer of adaptive wireless network security platform, it’s using to achieve thedemand and logic for "Energy Conservation into the Community" wireless system.This article analyze a security system based on encryption algorithm, and anapplication layer security protocol on open network that protect user data security onOpen WLAN, at the same time implement a adaptive user key maintenance ofExchange and data encryption based on using of the Agent and homomorphicencryption technology. The main contribution of this study is as follow:(1) Implement the Whisper block cipher algorithm which the core ideas presentedbased on Blowfish block cipher algorithm.(2) Implement the Curve homomorphic encryption which based on Whisper andhomomorphic encryption theory that can decrypt out of sequence.(3) Design the Collinder security protocol on application layer for open wirelessWLAN security and define sets of data objects that can be multiple encrypt.(4) Design a model of network traffic and use Agent technology combines multipleencryption method and Collinder security protocols for implementing the self adaptivewireless network security system.
