Although businesses only containssmall staffs, there are communication barriers, especially in those enterprises beingengaged in science and technology it is also used to prevent employee contact withoutside enterprises, especially so.Therefore, in order to meet the demand of enterprises, the messagingcommunication system is developed to adapt to the local correspondence within theenterprise. This paper describes the process of developing the LAN communicationsystem based on MFC under the environment of Visual Studio2008, it contains the userinterface that is developed under the MFC application framework, applies multi-threadtechnology to implement the interconnection of the users and the accumulation anddisplay of user information. It also incorporates the function of text based chatting, filebased chatting, voice based chatting, the fluctuation of the window, setting of script, recording saving. The system follows the process of software development, namely, feasibility analysis, requirement analysis, general design, detailed design, coding as well as the final testingand maintainance. It contains the user-friendly interface, it is also easy to operate, it can besoon put into use after little amendment. It is most suitable to the companies that imposerestrictions on the access of the internet.
