With the rapid development of IoT(the Internet of Things), the application ofRFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tags shows a broad market. As the RFID chip becomesthinner and smaller, the RFID tags packaging equipment also requires higher precision. As alink between the other modules of equipment, substrate transport module is critical to thequality of the product. This thesis mainly discusses lateral displacement control of flexiblesubstrate.Firstly, the composition of the substrate transport system and the control requirements isanalyzed. A motion control system based on ACR9000P3U8M1(multi-axis stand-alonemotion controller) is proposed.Secondly, the factors resulting in the lateral displacement of the web are researched andanalyzed. The dynamics model of offset-pivot guide system was investigated. The effect ofmodel parameters (speed and tension of substrate) on lateral displacement of substrate areanalyzed through simulation. The results show that, as substrate feed speed increase, thelateral displacement increase. In contrast, the lateral displacement of substrate reduces alongwith the increaseing of the substrate tension. In the normal process, the regularly changes ofspeed and tension will generate periodic interference for lateral displacement of substrate.In the case of intermittent web transportation, iterative learning control (ILC) is adoptedto eliminate the periodic disturbance. Simulations show that, after using iterative control, thefollowing error converges with the increase of the iteration numbers, achieve a bettercorrection effect.Finally, select a servo control proposal, debugging position loop in controller, currentloop and speed loop in servo drive. Build the hardware system for lateral displacement control.The results show that: By using this control system and control method, the equipment canachieve good control of lateral displacement.This motion control system and control method has been successfully applied to RFIDtag package equipment, meeting the equipment requirements and achieved good results.
