Along with the development of the electronic media, the power of the media itself isby people face, Media Ecology theory human replay at the historic moment. On thattheory perspective, this research explored the involvement of people in the mediaevolution process, by introducing the concept habit, and the following questions: whyusers habits and media evolution will have a relationship; How user habits and mediaevolution effect each other; What kind of relation that the user habits and media evolutionhave. On this basis, it also explained the question how media technology influenceculture further with the concept habits, that is a key proposition in Media Ecology,from the point of view of human.According to the psychology theory of Behavioral Learning and Schema, thisresearch divided habit into two parts that behavioral and cognitive habit, and analyzied therelationship between the habit and media evolution from the two aspects. By thetheoretical analysis of Media Ecology and Social Psychology, it proposed relationshipmodel of user habits and media evolution, and chose depth interview to promote research.Through data survey of Chinese mobile Internet, the investigation was designed to findout how media habits form and change. According to the mild, moderate, and severe classof mobile phone users, there is12people selected for the interview, and among the samplethe proportion of all kinds are equal. After the interview, the research related contentextracted from the records was used as the examples to support the research assumption inthe user habits and media evolution relationship model. Furthermore, seven acting forceswere extracted for analysis of hypothesis and proof. After that, there were six modelschemes be summed up, those were the charactes of habit, the process of media habitsforming, the reason why media habits change, as well as media evolution loop, demanditeration loop and function theory on habits effect media evolution.Research found that media using habit will enhance the media demand, the mediademand will constantly iteration in the process of media evolution, at the same time mediausing habits and media cognitive habit can as the vane of direction of medium evolution.
