Health care has increasingly become a global phenomenon, widespread concern bythe medical personnel and patients groups. The issue of health care for older age groups,disabled groups, those with chronic diseases (heart and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes,chronic bronchitis, emphysema, etc.) is especially vulnerable to social concerns and it isalso the major problem faced by the community. The development of information andcommunication technologies, in particular, biomedical sensors, mobile terminal, cloudcomputing,3G technology, make telemedicine and home-based health care servicesfeasible. In this context, this paper proposed and constructed a health-care organizationsand vulnerable families collaboratively working intelligent care platform with the supportsof the mobile Internet, intelligent terminal, cloud computing, and intelligent sensortechnology and the target of the application of medical care to the elderly population, thechronically ill and vulnerable groups based on a multi-service functions, home gatewayand intelligent Terminal mobile. This platform assists family members or professionalHealth care personnel to conduct remote monitoring and caring of vulnerable groups ofthe elderly, the disabled, the chronically ill and patients with post-operative recoveryperiod in a low-cost and high-efficient way.The thesis analyzed the latest development of mobile intelligent care system andresearch in related areas, and discussed the key technologies of android mobile platform,wireless wifi and mobile positioning used in mobile intelligent care system. Focusing onthe application of mobile medical care, telemedicine applications, this thesis build amobile intelligent care system composed of the functions of remote video surveillance,video and audio calls, user positioning, intelligent alarm care system based on Androidplatform to provide a holistic, seamless medical monitoring and medical interactionservice for patients. This paper proposed the basic architecture and implementation of thesystem and completed the development of server-side software and mobile terminalssoftware. The server runs on the Windows platform and the client runs on the Androidmobile platform, the interaction between the server and client completes data transmission via wireless wifi technology as well as the interaction between the Android end-user.The paper described in detail the software and workflow of server-side in the mobileintelligent caring system, and described the implementation of the various functionalmodules of the mobile terminal in detail. At the last of this paper, the test result waspresented, each module of the system functional worked well. The results of performancetesting on the system in the video and audio data transfer and alarm mechanisms showedthat the data flow and delay generated in interaction system of video/audio can meet theperformance requirements of the system for video surveillance, video and audio call, thedelay in the alarm system is also controlled in a reasonable range.
