Internet of Things is an information network to connect objects, with the full capacityto perceive objects, and having the capabilities of reliable transmission and intelligenceprocessing for information. The research and development of Internet of Things allowsus to obtain real-time information of anything. Based on such research background,The Internet of Things technology and theoretical research in the field was able to afurther development.With the science and technology development, logistics developed more and moremodern. Modern logistics is not mean the modern logistics facility modern,but mean thescientific management of logistics, logistics goods is the important fact of constructmodern logistics, Goods monitor system be applied into logistics can effectivelyreal-time monitor, manage and schedule logistics goods, also can improve efficiency oflogistics management and reduce the cost of logistics management.Commodity monitor system integrates global poisoning techniques,moderncommunication techniques and geographic information techniques. The system Usesglobal poisoning techniques to get dynamic location information,real-timely transfer theinformation to monitoring center, and monitoring center display the targets moving trackin the electronic map which has a powerful geographic inquiry function. monitor systemcan raise commodity’s running efficiency and insure safety.This thesis is based on a logistics which is belonging to a big automobilemanufacturing company in this country.1st, it analyzes the current situation ofcommodity monitoring system at home and abroad.2nd,the thesis introduces analyzesthe logistics distribution business of the company,it also analyzes the functionalrequirements and establishes the system functional model.On the basis,the thesis adoptsthe modularization and frame pattern with layers to design the system’frame and themodel of monitoring,it gives a solution of the system and detail design of terminal,communication module and monitoring center.In the system,the terminal sends GPSlocation information to monitoring center by Short messaging service techniques.,Inthe last,the thesis uses Visual Studio2008as development platform and SQLServer2005as the database development tool to implement a system which include the functionabout visible of monitoring,wireless communication,query the information ofdistribution.
